Intracerebral hemorrhage
The intracerebral hemorrhage, a bleeding within the brain, occurs suddenly and is the most serious form of a stroke.
Sometimes, a treatment by evacuation with surgery or catheter puncture with thrombolysis can be successful in stabilising the patient or to prevent further bleeding or a rehemorrhage.
We prefer – if necessary and if possible – the “bedside” direct catheter puncture and following thrombolysis. It is a minimal invasive, rapid and effective method of treatment.
The patient’s recovery, however, is decisively dependent on his clinical neurological condition before begin of treatment.
