Vascular diseases of the brain and spinal cord

Vascular neurosurgery deals with surgically treatable vascular diseases in the areas of the brain and spinal cord.

The diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the vessels of the central nervous system requires close cooperation of several disciplines. This cooperation can best be realized in large, appropriately equipped centers. In the Neurocenter Freiburg the entire range of vascular neurosurgery is treated by an interdisciplinary team of the departments of neurosurgery, neuroradiology and radiation oncology.
