Teo Puig Walz, MSc
IT-Coordinator, Scientific Assistant (Bioinstrumentation, Computational Modelling)Research Interests:
- Computational and numerical modelling of cardiac electrophysiology
- Modelling of heterocellular coupling and optogenetic tools
- Investigation of ischaemia-reperfusion arrhythmia mechanisms
- Optical mapping and signal processing
Brief CV:
Teo holds a Master of Science in Applied Physics from the University of Freiburg. At IEKM, he investigates arrhythmia mechanisms in ischaemia-reperfusion, combining experiments and simulations. Previously he worked on single-molecule experiments and the construction of optical tweezers at the Small Biosystems Lab at the University of Barcelona, from which he obtained a BSc in Physics.
