Medikamente
Mithilfe von speziellen Medikamenten, sogenannten Antiepileptika, soll weiteren Anfällen vorgebeugt werden. Wir setzen alle bekannten Medikamente gegen Epilepsie ein, bei Bedarf auch Medikamente, die nur außerhalb Deutschlands zugelassen sind. Ebenso setzen wir alle neu zugelassenen Medikamente ein, so dass Sie immer eine Ihren individuellen Bedürfnissen angepasste, moderne Epilepsiebehandlung erhalten. In Monotherapien und bei Kombinationen von Medikamenten wird eine möglichst gute Verträglichkeit angestrebt. Als großes universitäres Epilepsiezentrum nehmen wir an wissenschaftlichen Studien (link setzen) teil. Sie haben somit die Möglichkeit, ein neues Medikament bereits frühzeitig zur Verfügung gestellt zu bekommen.
