Paraneoplastische neurologische Syndrome

Paraneoplastic neurological syndromes research group
Professor Dr. Sebastian Rauer's research group is part of the Department of Neurology and Neurophysiology at the University Hospital and the University of Freiburg. The overarching goals of our research are:
- Identification of new autoantigens/autoantibodies in patients with clinically classic paraneoplastic syndrome and (so far) negative AK detection (preferably cerebellitis and seronegative limbic encephalitis)
- Establishment of target-oriented innovative immunotherapies in patients with classical PNS and known autoantibodies (in coordination with the Precision Neuroimmunology and Oncology Working Group)
