PM⁴Onco - networked data for better treatment decisions
PM⁴Onco is a collaborative project funded by the National Decade against Cancer of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and in the same time, it is one of eight clinical use cases of the Mecidal Informatics Initiative (MII).
PM⁴Onco means “Personalized Medicine for (4) Oncology”. Among the most important preconditions for personalized cancer medicine, we count extensive information about the specific cancer and the persons affected as well as the most recent research level.
In the future, those data shall be transferred more smoothly to the oncological centers, where the personalized treatment mainly is carried out.
