coNfirm
The coNfirm consortium brings together an interdisciplinary group of bioinformatics, statistical, clinical and experimental expertise. Its primary goal is to better understand heart disease. The consortium uses high-throughput data sets and systems medicine methods to find similarities between different heart diseases. Furthermore, implementation of new standards allows for data exchange between several centers and facilitates better analysis.
