Introductory note

When you arrive, you will be given for the duration of your stay a chipcard with your room number. This is available starting at 6 p.m. in the ICF residence (House III, new building). Towels and bedding are provided by the university hospital.

If you arrive by train

• Take Tram No. 4 toward “Messe” from the main train station (go up onto the bridge from the train tracks)
• Get off at “Elsässer Strasse”.
• Go along the “Berliner Allee” to the large intersection Berliner Allee/Elsässer Strasse.
• Turn right into the Elsässer Strasse, go about 20 meters and turn right again in the driveway marked “Implant Centrum Freiburg”

If you come by car

GPS: 48.008915, 7.830862  

Via Autobahn A5

• Take the exit for Freiburg Mitte and proceed along the Access Mitte (B31) toward “Universitätsklinik/Augenklinik” (see signs)
• After about 3 km, take the exit “Freiburg-Bischofslinden/Weingarten” and turn left in the Berliner Allee.
• After about 1.5 km, turn right into the Elsässer Strasse.
• Take the first driveway, which leads to clinic parking – there is a charge for parking.
• From the parking lot, go along the footpath to the ICF residence (House III, new building).
• There you can get the chipcard with your room number.
