International GAF Conference 2024

November 8-9, 2024

Dear colleagues,

we are delighted to present the 25th anniversary edition of the Annual Meeting of the Society for Anxiety Research this year in a new, international format.

As part of the scientific program, we have managed to compile six outstanding keynote lectures on the topics of the pathogenesis, maintenance, and treatment of anxiety disorders. Please find the provisional program below.

You can now register for the conference using the form below. The conference will take place at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Hauptstr. 5, 79104 Freiburg, Germany.

Additionally, this year will feature an expanded poster session. This offers the opportunity for in-depth professional exchange in a relaxed atmosphere with wine and pretzels. We invite you to actively participate in the scientific discourse and present your research findings in the form of a poster.

Contributions can be submitted online. Please see the "Abstracts" section of this website for abstract guidelines and further details on how to submit your poster. There is no conference fee. Please note that this year's conference language is English.

The deadline for abstract submission is August 15, 2024.

The three best poster presentations will be awarded a poster prize. The selection of contributions and winners will be made by the scientific program committee.

We look forward to an inspiring anniversary edition of the Annual Meeting of the Society for Anxiety Research and welcoming you in person to Freiburg in November.

Best regards,

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. K. Domschke      PD Dr. M. Schiele
