Research Interests
The focus of my research is on the functional organization of prefrontal networks in healthy and pathological states (e.g., Parkinson's Disease). In order to capture the fast dynamics of interactions between different regions in prefrontal cortex, I work with multi-channel functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) that provides a high temporal resolution and therefore renders the assessment of intrinsic directionalities in neural activity possible.
