Research Group "Molecular epidemiology of immunodeficiency"
Prof. Dr. Alexandra NietersThe research group "Molecular epidemiology of immunodeficiency" integrates genetic and epigenetic biomarkers in epidemiological studies of immunodeficiency phenotypes and explores their interplay with environmental and lifestyle factors to define disease risk and prognosis. The group includes epidemiologists and laboratory scientists and welcomes students with an interest in interdisciplinary projects at the interphase between epidemiology, molecular biology and epigenetics.
