Options available for Student Mobility between partner sites
Opportunities for Research Group CooperationAs EuCC aims to improve the network between research groups we would like to encourage groups at the member sites to consider short stays of students at the partner sites and to increase the mobility of young researcher.
Options are available for single persons as well as for whole partner sites.
Cross-Border Activity - Mobility Fellowship for Young Researchers
The Cancéropôle du Grand-Est aims to foster the cross-border collaboration between Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland for young researchers, French ones and foreign ones. The goal of this fellowship is to help building new and innovative international projects and collaborations, or strengthen existing ones. Emphasis is put on expertise and good practice exchange, technology development or use of an exquisite technology. PhD students, Post-doctoral and medical fellows can apply to the cancéropôle for a fellowship to visit a french laboratory for up to 3 months. The host laboratory has to be located within the Cancéropôle du Grand-Est (Alsace, Burgundy, Champagne-Ardenne, Franche-Comté, and Lorraine). The fellowship will cover such commodities like transport and housing.

DAAD - PPP Programmes for Project-Related Personal Exchange
The German Academic Exchange Service supports joint bi-national research projects of high standard. project. This called PPP program provides German young researcher particpants with mobility costs arising in transnational research projects. Also costs for stays are eligible. More information is available on this site.
The applicant must present a research project of high quality in that partners from two countries are ideally working together in a complementary manner. The partner country should start simultaneously a funding application.
The DAAD site is only available in German but this document is presenting the basics of the PPP program in English.
Please beware of the deadlines that are different for the partner countries.The deadline for France is in April 2017. Actually there's no call for Switzerland.
