Self-Help
General information, tips, and addressesSelf-help organizations are communities of people who share a condition and volunteer their time. They are oriented toward the needs of those affected and their loved ones and represent their interests. As a rule, self-help organizations are registered societies.
We at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg – CCCF cooperate with various self-help support groups in the region. Since October 2017, we have also maintained a Chair of Self-Help Research endowed by German Cancer Aid.
Psychosocial Cancer Counseling Service
The Freiburg Psychosocial Cancer Counseling Service is offered by the Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg – CCCF. If provides patients and their relatives help and counseling on social and psychological issues.
