These high standards and our achievements again earned us first place in the national hospital ranking of the news magazine Focus in 2013. According to the ranking, 85 percent of our patients were satisfied with the treatment they received at our heart center – the best result among cardiological institutions in Germany.

Our cardiologists are capable of performing all diagnoses and therapies from the non-surgical sector and preparing patients for their heart operation if and when required. Cardiological inpatients receive treatment at six stations with various treatment emphases in our house. We treat patients with cardiac valve diseases, heart failure, and all forms of cardiac arrhythmia.

Our interventional cardiologists form the largest functional unit at the department. They perform any catheter-diagnostic and therapeutic interventions deemed necessary for patients with diseases of the coronary vessels and the cardiac valves.

Our angiologists deal with vascular problems outside of the heart. In addition to treating lymphatic and venous diseases, they are especially experienced in treating various forms of arterial blood circulation disorders.
