Library
The Institute for Nursing Science has its own reference library. This library is a branch of the medical faculty library of the University of Freiburg and can be used by all students of the Albert Ludwig University, Freiburg. The collection comprises up to 1200 books which belong to the broader area of Nursing Science, medicine and health research. There are 15 study places and a photocopier/scanner which can be accessed with a UniCard.
The collection is also integrated in the Katalog Plus of the University Library, Freiburg and can be viewed there. Due to the limited access times, a scan service is available for Nursing Science students. Individual chapters can be scanned on request.

Opening Hours:
Currently limited to Thursdays from 9am to 12pm on an appointment basis. The request must be sent to ipw.bibliothek@uniklink-freiburg.de by 4pm on Tuesday at the latest or can be made via phone number 0761 270-64836.
The following timeslots can be booked:
Thursday 9am-10am
Thursday 10am-11am
Thursday 11am-12pm
More than one time slot can be booked as required. Should none of the time slots be suitable, alternative appointments can be requested.
The library is for reference only. Therefore borrowing is not permitted. Books should be returned to the shelf after use.
Hygiene regulations are current in place. A mask should be worn during the whole visit. Further hygiene regulations can be found hier.
