Postdoctoral Scientist Molecular Immunology (m/f/d)
This position is based at the Center for Chronic Immunodeficiency (CCI), University Medical Center Freiburg, Germany. Our lab works on the intersection of immunology, mitochondrial biology and cell metabolism, aiming to unravel the molecular pathomechanisms underlying immune dysregulation present in inborn errors of immunity (IEI), chronic inflammation, and cancer.

Your mission:
- You will contribute to our understanding of the molecular mechanisms of immune dysregulation by collaborating closely with PhD students, postdocs and researchers using in vitro and in vivo models
- You are expected to present effectively research findings, both in written and oral form to general and specialized audiences
- We seek a highly engaged, curious team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
Qualifications:
- PhD in immunology, cell or molecular biology, or related field
- a creative, independent, and persistent research approach
- excellent collaborative and interpersonal communication skills
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- fluency in written and spoken English
- Experience working with mice; a FELASA B certificate is desirable
The position is full-time and limited to two years. The salary will be determined in accordance with TV-L.
